Hi everyone, I've been reading these forums for 6 months now, but this is my first post. In June/July I hatched some mixed chicken eggs (no idea of breed) and now have 9 healthy and happy birds. We live in a residential area however and now need to either rehome or despatch (hoping for the former!) the boys.

My husband and I have absolutely no idea what we have - despite reading lots of online info. We think these ones are the most likely to be boys, but would love your expert advice and also an idea of breed would be great. Sorry about the blurry one, hopefully it's enough.[IMG]

    Thank you!

#2 and #3 are definitely cockerels, sorry... can't tell with the first one...
Oh, and 2 & 3 look very much like Crested Cream Legbar mixes; crests, barring and coloring all fit that...

Looks like a Rhode Island Red and Plymouth bar rock cross, rooster to me.

Thank you, will try to get side on photos of the little one tomorrow. I thought 2 and 3 were roosters, such a shame as I think they are beautiful.

    Yep, those are boys, lol...
I still think they look like Crested Cream Legbar mixes, but I could be wrong, lol...
Were any of the eggs you hatched either a blue or green color?

Yes all of them were from varying shades of blue/green eggs, sorry probably should have mentioned that! Any idea on the little one?

lol, that helps! Then I say yes, Crested Cream Legbar mix cockerels on them...
Need a better pic of the little one, and does it have feathered feet? What color are the legs and how many toes? That would help narrow it down, lol...
