Have a look at Chester, there. He's one hell of an alarm clock, and not a bad guard dog either. I was given Chester and two lovely hens as a wedding present last year and my wife and I are dying to know what breed he is. Thanks in advance!

Handsome is a matter of opinion, mutt is a fact. He looks absolutely nothing like a Silver Leghorn.

I have a mixed young cockeral that is simular in color to yours, but he was produced by a black Silkie hen and a mixed Pollish hen.

He's a mixed breed rooster. His color is similar to birchen but lots of leakage.
