Boy or girl? Black polish Chick

Hi all! Me and my hubby are really hoping she is a lil girl. She is our only chick that is not a sexlink of some sort. What are your thoughts? She is about 4weeks.

Having a single polish can often end badly as the crest can attract pecking especially as birds mature so keep an eye out and be ready to separate it out.

I have a single polish who is endlessly bullied by the other breeds, wish I had known about this before I got her. I think your polish is a girl but it's really too early to be sure. You have to wait at least until the crest is fully feathered in.

Thanks for The feed back. We had originally got 2 black polish at 2days old and the other one died so far she holds her own... I don’t know how much it will change but as of now she is the leader of the pack and she is the smallest! She has 10x the attitude of the other ones and bumps chests and struts around...

Good for her, hope she ends up a pullet. Polish can be nearly as difficult to sex early as silkies.
