I bought three Golden Sex Link chicks at Tractor Supply. They are about 7 to 10 days old. They were sold as pullets. I am concerned that they are actually male. Can you tell by the pictures?

If that's a gold sexlink, it's male. That's the whole point of sexlinks. Easy, accurate sexing at hatch. It is possible that somebody put White Rocks or Leghorns in the bin on accident. Or that the bin was mislabeled. Feed stores make those sorts of mistakes all the time.

Sex links mean the sex of the bird is linked to the color. Females red/gold, males white/silver. Your birds are white/silver, so if they're sex links, they're male.

But, TSC is notorious for mixing or mislabeling chicks. I'd wait and post pics about 6 weeks old, see how they look at that point. You may have another breed entirely.

If it is a Sex-link, it is a male.
