    I'm going to have to ask how old, I had one with similar coloring who turned out to be a rooster. But I'm leaning towards rooster.

    about 8 weeks the the one I got with this one is way bigger and has a full tail

    EEs are a tough breed to sex at an early age, but those beautiful glossy red feathers starting on the wings tells me you have a little boy. In partridge patterns, hens do not exhibit those colors. If you want a pullet I hope I am wrong.
