Boy or Girl

    agreement on our 14 week chicken . We ordered 4 females but from what I am seeing our one looks more like a boy . Can anyone help PLEASE .

    I'd vote boy. Those feathers sure look like roo feathers, it doesn't have as much pink as I'd expect in a 14 week old but would think it is just a slow maturing roo.

    That looks like a cockerel. There's a lot of pink in the comb for being 14 weeks. The pattern is a bit on the feminine side but if I'm not mistaken, the saddle feathers look pointed too.

    I'd say that's a hen. at fourteen weeks a comb would be more developed but judging by comb and feathers is just SO circumstantial.I swear chickens are the most difficult animal to sex at early ages unless you are trained with vent sexing.

    OP, is this an EE? EEs are generally slow to mature, even the males. My females at 22 weeks barely have that much pink in the comb.

    That bird is 6 months now? Changed my mind to girl, she just has an odd color/pattern on the back feathers.
