Appreciate any help in picking out the boys from the girls

    1. This one was hatched from a green egg:

    2. This one hatched from a BO egg, but notice the slight coloring/markings around the neck & has the kind of comb an EE has (what is that called) instead of the regular single comb BOs have:

This pic is showing #1 to the left, #2 on top of the feeder and for sure a roo on the right (BO mother & thinking my RIR roo is the dad).

    3. This one hatched from a BO egg & was the lightest buff color of all the buff ones that hatched. Really undecided on this one...it's comb is the kind an EE has and starting to get the "cheeks" (I call them) like an EE has. It has the very pale feet like BO. I was thinking it was a she cause of the way it is so short & squatty (it runs just like my BO hen does)

But the way that comb is looking, now I'm starting to wonder...

Here's a pic showing it's butt up in the air...the white one to the right:

It appears as if you have 3 cockerels. Especially if they are only 6 weeks old! [IMG]

Quote:Uh oh! Hmmm...maybe I need to post some pics of a couple of the other ones that I thought were girls then. And yep, 6 weeks old...well, about 6 1/2...hatched August 29th.

Now I'm even wondering about my 16-week old ones! You better go hide under that chair! LOL [IMG]
