they are 15 weeks old and the same size. not much sound except an occasional trill/squeal.

Does the green feathering mean male??? I think black whote one is male I heard that is what the green feathers are.
Quote:If you are talking about the green sheen on the black feathers they have little to do with sex. almost any black duck with feathers in good condition should show the green sheen.
Hi -- I had a hatch of 8 Silver Appleyard ducklings, but 2 are larger and darker (see photo). The rest have the typical look of Appleyards. Are the other 2 drakes? If not, any idea what kind of ducks they are? Thanks
