    How old are they? It's actually much easier to determine gender when you take a natural photo of the bird standing on it's own two feet, instead of being held. Those with the larger combs and wattles probably are roos, as you suspect.

    I think that your guesses are correct, though I'd lean more towards cockerel on the first bird.

    Ok, got some new photos taken today. Hopefully they give a better idea of roos or pullets. They are all varying ages.

    1. Biggest Chick (I thought pullet). The biggest and oldest chick....can anyone confirm likely how old?

    Oh much better with him standing on his own I also try to take my photos with them on a roost as I can move and they wont .......

    I think Gander is referring to chick #1, which I also believe to be male.

    Unfortunately, I think your only girl is chick #2.
