My chicks are 7 weeks old. They were supposed to be all pullets. They are RIRs and Barred Rocks. Can you tell at this age the sex by looking at the combs and waddles?[IMG]

    Oh no :(

You have almost all roosters there. I see one pullet.

Can you # the chicks? How many do you have? The first two are 100% boys - no doubt at all about it.

I have 6 RIRs and 3 of them have the larger combs. One of my four Barred Rocks has the larger comb.

Barred rocks are sexable by colour as well. Boys appear lighter. [IMG]

Unfortunately, at seven weeks, I see almost all roosters as well.

3 and 4 show pullets (not including the barred cockerel) but the rest of the pics are cockerels

all the barred rocks are roosters, most of the RIRs are roosters too, maybe 1-2 pullets
