I know what I want it to be, but I am afraid I also know what it is....

I got this one as a day old and am pretty attached. It comes to me and lets me pet and hold it. It will be 7 weeks old on Monday.

    Roo!

I'm new, so it's more of a guess. I was told if it looks white with black stripes, roo. If it's black with white stripes, pullet.

Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can help you.

I just really wanted to be wrong... [IMG]

Is it unreasonable that I want to move so I can keep him? [IMG]

That is totally a cockerel. Beautiful though! I have never heard of some one moving just so they could keep a chicken [IMG] ( I would probably want to if I were you! )

He's beautiful. I have one like that, when I go out in the run he runs over and jumps on my feet. I pray he doesn't end up mean, it will break my heart.
