[IMG]I recently crossed by Barred Rock roo with my RSL's. The eggs are currently incubating. What should I expect to get? I also crossed my SLW roo with my RSL's. What should I expect? I currently have a flock of 25 hens, and I get 20-24 eggs a day. Will the offspring of these crosses be good layers or just eating machines?[IMG]

You'll get mutt chickens, basically, but the BR roo will produce chicks with some barring on both sexes. Since a RSL is a cross in the first place, you just crossed again. It's anyone's guess how they'll lay, but they'll probably be decent layers.
