When we got our first chickens four of them were crosses.

The story went that one night a rooster liberated himself and set about doing what he does best. Our four crosses plus many others were a result of his night on the town!

Rumour has it that the rooster was a Brahma, and we believe all four crosses are from this rooster, but we'd be really intersted to know what breed the mother(s) might be and if somebody could confirm that they are all Brahma crosses.

All the pullets have some feathers on their feet, the last picture is our daughters bantam which looks like maybe a Brahma / Silkie cross?

    Thanks in advance.

    Paul.

All I see in the first two is Dark Brahma, but the feet don't look as feathered as I am used to seeing. That second girl is nice with the solid black mane! Wish I could help more but they are all pretty [IMG]
