Brahma, Light Sussex OR Meat chicken?

My friend bought some fertile eggs to put under her broody, the breed was called ''Essendon'' which doesn't exist (Does it?) I went and visited them and OMG they were massive! They looked like a massive light Sussex or a brahma with no feathered feet BUT they were only 3 MONTHS OLD and they were larger than say a full grown Australorp!

I’m thinking Light Sussex. But I never own Brahma or Sussex. So I can’t what considered too large for the Sussex breed.

Certainly not a Brahma. Doesn‘t look like a Sussex either. But that is one heck of a bird.

My guess is a meat strain developed in or near Essendon.
