brahma question..chicks feet

    Hi,
    6 of my eggs hatched last weekend. I do believe I have 4 buff orpington/black sumatra mix. They are very chocolately brown. The only other option is buff orp/light brahma, but they have no feathers or fluff on thier feet.
    So my question is..when do brahmas show signs of feet fluff?

    They have brown legs and feet.[​IMG]

    I believe the other two, with black beaks are black australorp/sumatra.

    Mine had feathered feet upon hatching.

    Thank you. So I will assume that these are orpington/sumatra. [​IMG] goody!

    I agree... the leg feathering even in LB crosses, is present at birth. I had a LB x BR that had ONE feather on each foot... but it was there when it hatched. [​IMG]
