We have 3 chickens that are 11-12 weeks old (pictures taken about 2 weeks ago) and I heard some crowing going on the other morning. Now, I know that females can crow, but I want to rule out that my Dolly Brahma isn't actually a roo. My Easter Eggers are most definitely female so she is the only one I really am questioning. Thanks!

Looks like a pullet to me [IMG] are you positive what you heard was a crow? Sometimes my hens make some awful noises when a squabble breaks out...

Looks like a pullet to me too.
Are you sure that all your EE's are girls?

I do have a hen that crows though. Seriously.

Thanks so much for the input. Phew, I am so glad she is not looking like a roo, we already had to give away a pullet turned rooster. Yeah, the sound sounded like a dying rooster crowing and I haven't heard it since. We'll see, I am pretty positive that neither EEers are and now I have to just make sure my new chicks aren't roosters and we'll be all set.
