Brand new from Kansas!

Hey all, figured I'd come through here and introduce myself. I literally just got my first chicks yesterday and thought I'd join because I came across this site numerous times when I was doing my research. I didn't come from a family that kept livestock or poultry like I'm sure some of you probably did, but my uncle did farm. I actually just came from keeping some other animals as a hobby, now stay with me, reptiles. Let me tell you, it's already a culture shock! Lol
