Thanks, puffypoo22! Hubs and I like to research the heck out of any new activity we take on, and this is no exception. Plus it's just plain fun to learn about!

Anyway, it sounds like it's pretty common to lose a chick or two early on, and I really want to make sure that if that happens, it wasn't from something that might have been preventable. Some chicks are not going to make it I guess, but I don't want to add to those chances.
