Hi! We received our very first chicks on May 12th - they will be 4 weeks tomorrow! We have two Rhode Island Reds and two Silver Laced Wyandottes. They seem so big already... We have already had to change their enclosure setup twice because they started flying at two weeks. Today I walked out to the garage and one was standing on the waterer just peeking out of the fencing and looking around - so it looks like we need to switch it up again.

These are photos of them from last week, but they gained so many feathers this week that they already look so different from here.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! What beutiful chicks you have there :love They sure can catch you out with how fast they learn to escape!! I've had my fair few good flyers in the past but had to nip that one in the bud.

Wishing you the very best of luck with them in the future. Be sure to ask any questions, everyone here to help.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow
