It's my first night with chickens. My barred Plymouth Rock girls are all in the brooder and I keep checking on them constantly. Any advice?

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with your new flock! A great place to start reading is the BYC Learning Center, lots of nice articles on all aspects of poultry keeping you'll find helpful, especially the the Chicks section. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

I'm glad you decided to join us! Let us know if you have any questions, we will be glad to help you if we can. I like to give my chicks some yogurt and liver, and some apple cider vinager and garlic in their water to get them off to a good start, and X3 on drumstick divas advise. Enjoy your chickys! [IMG]

There is a lot of great info on here, and lots of very knowledgeable people, so I'm sure you'll be able to find any info you may be looking for. [IMG]

Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

As long as they have food, water and warmth, they should be fine.

Well all is well here. We lost two chicks after the first couple of days. My three old boy took it hard so I replaced the two we lost with two americaunas. All has been well since then and they are growing fast!
