Brand newbie from NC

Hi my name is Marissa...my middle schooler wanted to build a chicken coop for his Ag project this year. Coop complete. He decided he wanted some layers. Some research done. Now we have 10 baby chicks! Buff Orpington and Easter Egger mix. Babies are 1w4d old. All are thriving and healthy minus “Bad Leg Freddie.” Poor thing, my boys gave her an awful name. Research in hopes to help this sweet girl led me to BYC! Excited to have a resource like this for all future chicken endeavors but also anxious to see if we can find some help for BLF!
