I ordered from the colored egg assortment through tractor supply and want to know what they are! Two look a lot like wellsummers but those weren’t on the list. Here are 3 pics each of 3 of the birds

The Welsummer looking ones could be Starlight green eggers or olive eggers. I have a couple SGE and one olive egger from Hoovers in that color pattern.

The white one looks to be coming up with some red, and appears to have a pea comb. The prairie bluebell eggers always have a pea comb, could be one of those in blue and copper? I haven't seen PBBs in white base with red. If it is indeed white, it might be an americana (not sure if those come in pea comb or not, but they're colored egg layers, so they might).

That’s great to hear!! Thank you for the answer. I have been second-guessing if I really got colored egg layers.. but it sounds like they just might be. Now to wait and see if they are all females 🤞

How old are they? They look almost complete feathered out except their heads, so maybe 6 weeks? They all look female to me. Female feather shape and coloring so far. No male red on the shoulders.

My SGE and olive eggers have some pretty large floppy single combs. And if your white one is at least 6 wks, that pea comb would be much bigger if it was a male.

I'd say your odds for all female are high.

They’re 3.5 weeks!! They are getting big fast. One of the brown one looks like it’s getting red waddles faster than the other, I hope it’s not a rooster.

Ah, okay, ~4 weeks. It's been a while since I've raised chicks. So in two weeks you should be able to tell for sure.

I still don't see anything concerning. The olive egger and SGEs have moderate to large size combs and wattles when mature. At 3-4 weeks their combs and wattles are still quite yellow, which is what I'd expect for females, and they look to have the right comb size for their age.

I don't have a lot of experience with roosters, but for the one rooster I have who is a production red (extra large single comb and wattles), his comb was twice that size and fully pink by 3 weeks.

You could look on here for SGE and olive egger chick pictures, and compare with your birds, at the age they are, if you're interested. It helped me figure mine out when I first had them.

Crossing fingers for you!

here they are at 1 month old now. It sounds like the white ones could be prairie bluebells and the brown could be starlight green Eggers. One of the brown ones I’m keeping an eye on, I can’t have any roosters!
