I actually am questioning most of my colorful ones. Recently I heard 3 different am calls, out of 14 chickens I'm getting about 4-5 eggs a day. mostly from my RIRs and my little bantie. But these other chickens hardly have ay tail feathers since I picked them up from auction, they are just starting to grow some in, can anyone tell if its a Roo or a pullet? Gonna try a post pics for the first time.

I'm seeing 2 roos in that pic. The one on the left looks like a production red/rhode island red - kind of hard to see since I can only see its rear end. The one on the right looks like a barred rock.

thanks everyone, can you tell me what you do with them, should I cull them? Not wanting to breed them, and Im not sure what age they are.

I think that if you don't want them or don't want to cook them, maybe try to find some one who will first. I hate to say it, but.......if not then dispose of the birds properly.
