This is my first time raising chickens.
We purchased 4 chicks from Tractor Supplies. I am guessing they were a week or two when we bought them and we have had them for 9 weeks. Two of them were supposed to be bantam hens and they have grown to look like roosters. One started crowing this morning. Since we live in a neighborhood I will have to get rid of them I would just like to ID them beforehand.

Silver Duckwing OEGB Cockerels

Are sure they were labeled as pullets? Bantams are extremely difficult to sex, and the only hatchery I know of at does that, is My Pet Chicken. And it's like 10 dollars extra per chick. Which I don't think a feed store is going to pay. Bantams ate labeled as Straight Run, which means, as hatched. So apparently these were mislabeled....

Thank you for the info! They were not labeled as pullets but they supposedly "sexed" them for us. I guess they were wrong. This will be a live and learn situation for this city girl. :hmm
