Breed and Gender

Looking to see if anyone knows what breed these two are and if there hens? They are not crowing and are over 6 months old.

The dark one looks like a rooster, the lighter one I am not sure of.
Don't know the breed.

The first one is a definite cockerel. I'm thinking the second one is too. They look like mixed breeds.

Will they eventually crow? They also "bow down" to our hen that runs the roost. They mostly stick with each other and are definitely last in line?

They look like mixed breeds to me. The first one is definitely a cockerel, and I think the second one is too.

Mixed breed cockerels.

I'm guessing the hens are older than these birds? It will just take a while for them to mature enough to mate and be flock leaders. they'll take their place by spring, definitely.

I agree, both cockerel mixes, looks like possibly Rhode Island red X
