Where did you get them? They are to young to sex and its coloring is very unusual, most likely a mix. Oh and Welcome to BYC!
Oh thankyou for sharing that with me, I was under the assumption Cockerel's only had feathered legs. I can't wait to see how the chicks turn out I have a little chick which I'm curious about as it has really long legs and a short body, the farmer reckons it's a pheasant cross chicken, is that possible? Please find a photo attachedRoosters and hens can both have feathered and featherless legs.
And yes it's probably a mixed breed cockerel.
I took some new photos for youits very rare if at all possible to have a pheasant chicken hybrid. I can't see it very well , if you could get a better picture i could guess the breed.
