Newbie here! Any help with breed and gender please!

How old are they, and are they the same age? I'd say top is a cockerel and bottom is a pullet.

They look like my buff wyandottes, but I am not going to bet the farm on it.

We've had them for 6 weeks and 4 days. I'm guessing they were a couple of days old when my husband got them from the feed store. And he didn't ask any questions so everything I'm learning about them is on this site! By the way, I have them tagged by colors. That's why it says pink and orange. And by the looks of it, we aren't going to have many eggs!!!

So they are roughly 7 week old BO? Tagging by color is one of the best ways to sort your birds and be able to ID them, track them, etc - good move on your part!

Looks like by your reply that I have 4 Roos and 2 pullets! I am just so in love with all of them! I just can't imagine getting rid of any! Maybe I could separate them?
