This is my first time owning chickens, and so far I am loving it! I was wondering if any of you could tell me the breed of the brown bantum and the black chick. I got them from a mixed bin at tractor supply. I know I have 2 Amberlinks and 2 Silkies. Yes, I got a mish mosh of different kinds! Also I was wondering if you all could tell me pullet or cockerel for each. My 2 Amberlinks were both supposed to be pullets, but I’m beginning to wonder based on comb and waddle development on one. Also any advice is appreciated.

The silkies look like pullets, thus far, but this is the breed where breeders stand around the cages at shows and have guessing games, so, you know...

The fourth set of pictures (white) is a cockerel. No idea what breed.

#5 (white, normal feathers) looks like a girl so far, whatever she is. EDT: Can't read. Amberlink, then. Don't think the boy is, though.

Agree on the Mille Fleur D'uccle. EDT: also agree on roosterdom, if that wasn't clear.

Ugh, ok I was hoping that I had 2 Amberlink pullets since they came from the pullet bin, but I knew there was no guarantee. Thank you!

Any ideas about the black one? He/she is my favorite and I have no idea what breed or if he or she, but I’m leaning towards pullet.

It looks like s/he's some sort of cuckoo color, but I don't recognise the breed. My best guess would be hatchery-quality male sexlink, but that's only a guess and a highly unsubstantiated one.
Wait and see, maybe?
