This mystery chick will be 6 weeks old on Sunday. Still has absolutely no feathers on it's head. Ay ideas?

I'm leaning toward pullet, probably a White Leghorn. [IMG]

Glad to hear signs are pointing to pullet at least.

I thought leghorn as well, but her leg color seems pale. Maybe that will change as she gets older. (may have been hoping Orpington)

Quote:she should be just about feathered out completely around 6 weeks but she might be a slow grower, which does happen. [IMG]

Thanks, she is a very slow grower. She's still really small but seems to be feathering out finally.
