Breed/gender of this chicken?

The current owner knows the breed of this chicken (I can't recall it), but she can't figure out if it's a male or female. We heard that females of this breed have large combs too. I personally think it's a cockerel, but I'm not sure.

I would say cockerel too by the hackle feathers on it's neck.

Rooster.A pullet's wattles in that breed are not nearly that size compared to the comb.A pullets comb will begin to flop about the same time it turns bright red getting ready to lay.His comb is very straight.Plus he has roo hackle feathers.Can't see his saddle feathers but I'm sure they are rooish.

Roo. The color looks to be Mottled. Not sure what breed though.

I would say roo too, but I think it looks more like an Execheor leghorn than an Ancona
