These are all 8.5 weeks old wondering breed and gender tho pretty sure most are Pullets
1 looks like an easter egger.... 2 looks like a welsummer..... I can't tell for the rest, sorry
Agree, first is an EE, second is definitely a welsummer. Recognize them because they're two of the breeds in my little microflock. Don't know about the rest, sorry!
The last 2 could be black sex links 3rd one looks like Black Australorp.
X4, except three looks like it has a rose comb, meaning it's not an australorp.
Hmmm..It does look like may have rose comb. The white wing tip and white specks around comb made me think Australorp...Could it be a black Wyandotte?
I'm wondering what the source of these birds is as some are looking like mixed breeds. I am also going with an EE and Welsummer for the first and second. The rose combed black bird (trhird photo) appears to have dark shanks, possibly feathered even, so definitely not a Wyandotte....which makes me think mixed breed and that leads me to wonder about the source of them. The last two could be black sex links, but it's unusual for them to have such a red breast as the last one does.
I agree that they are all looking like pullets so far.
all pullets at this point in time
Is it just me, or does #2 look like she has a beard.
