    Got this little chick at the feed store yesterday, I was told it was an easter egger pullet, can anyone confirm? [​IMG]

    Are those legs yellow or green?

    If green, the coloring seems to indicate a Roo.

    Easter Eggers can be almost any color, so it could be. If it is a EE it should have a pea comb, I can't tell from the pictures if it does.

    It doesn't look like any of the other EEs I've sen... no muffs, beard, green legs...

    I think it does have muffs (feathers on the side of the head ?), but I couldn't get a good pic of them...

    I think it does have a muff/beard. I remember when my EE chicks were changing out fluff for feathers their beards kinda went away for a couple weeks...

    Since EEs are mixed breed, not all of them have muffs, beards, or pea combs. I have EEs all from the same clutch and parents, some of which are "classic" EEs and some of which look more like their non-Ameraucana parent and lay brown eggs. One of the roos from the clutch had a pea comb and the other didn't. One was colored like a classic silver Ameraucana roo and the other looked like a child's coloring book page on steroids.
