The big combs are the dead giveaways on Leghorns

Speaking of combs... I've noticed in some pictures that some fall over while others do not. Is this breed specific? Defect if they fall over?? Thank you.

Many leghorns combs flop over because they so big. There may be a few other breeds that do and some mutts, but leghorns are known for it.

I'm still not giving up on one, lol. I hope to take better pictures tomorrow. One of them has started TRYING to crow. It's hilarious.

Ok, so 3 roos for sure but two still have light and smaller combs. Anybody want to change their vote??
