O.k., I've got one happy flock of 32 chicks/hens/roos/ 7 in the bator/11 under a broody, I am wondering if anyone knows the breed on some and the gender on all. [IMG]

Well, the only one I know for sure is the black and rust colored one in pics 6-7. It's a black sex link, female. Now the white one with dark speckling could be a Delaware. Maybe a girl as well. The solid black one - I'd guess it might be a black marans... Maybe. Certianly someone else will chime in now.

The only obvious roo I see appears to be a Delaware.

Awe, only one roo? I was hoping to have a roo for every breed. I've been wondering if the black ones are copper marans, I have 4 3 month old French Copper Marans, 3 pullets, one roo, but they have the feathering on their legs, I was going to post a pic of them, but BYC doing maintence, they are some proud birds, just beautiful. I was told a black broiler, but both the little black ones have the copper coming in, and on the front of their necks is a white spot, maybe some baby feathers, I don't can't even find a black broiler, my next guess was black sex links. The little white ones, are killing me to know, they are very neat, nosy, little butts, scared of nothing. It matters then it doesn't, I just love chickens.

    THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!
