    I don't have any background info on this hen, she was a part of a take-all group. Any ideas on breed?[​IMG]

    I thought the same thing, I am not absolutely sure it's a hen but it doesn't act like a rooster or ever offer to crow.

    I know when challenged, it's neck feather really flare out, very game-like.

    If its a rooster then it is a young one. Neck feathers look roo-ish to me.

    Pretty sure I see some saddle feathers coming in. Looks like possibly a production red cockerel.
