    Yes but both barred rock and cuckoo marans have the spot.

    I'm thinking it's a Maran. The beak and legs are really yellow, like a Rock.

    Im hoping so i remember my barred rock chicks being much more yellow

    Agreed; the legs look whitish to me as well so I'm thinking Cuckoo Marans. The formula for sexing the barred breeds is as follows:
    Single comb + yellow legs = Barred Rock
    Single comb + whitish legs = Cuckoo Marans
    Rose comb + yellow legs = Dominique
