I bought these chicks at one week old. Seller said they were RIR and RIR/JG cross.

The dark ones have heavily feathered yellow legs, pink body skin, pronounced breasts, and fast growth. Any idea what they might be? JG have clean legs... 😆

Thanks, everyone! They really pretty and shiny in person. I bought them with the intent to sell and use the profit to buy a exhibition Brahma roo to work on improving my main flock genetics but they’re so curious and friendly that I’m tempted to keep them to see how they turn out. What’s another 11 chickens, right?? 😂

The single combs mean probably not first generation Brahma crosses. They could be Cochin crosses, or maybe olive egger or olive egger crossed to something else. Or maybe they are second or third generation Brahma crosses. Really difficult to know for sure.
X2. Really good points JedJackson! Update us as their feathers grow out! Brahmas, Cochins and crosses of them are easier to tell apart at an older age! :)
