We I’m new to duck ownership, and we rescued these two from the local animal shelter. We are estimating they are 2-3 months old. I’m thinking the male is a Muscovy, and the female is a Khaki Campbell. Can anyone verify this for me?

A question from a crazy chicken lady for Muscovy ducksters ...
I notice that these two youngsters don't really have the big, bumpy protrusions on their faces, yet. Growing up, I had a friend with a million-year-old Muscovy drake. His protrusions were so big and red that he looked like a poster-duck for elephantiasis - he was COOL! So my question is this - does the bumpiness (what's the proper term, please?) keep growing throughout their lives, or does it stop at some point?

It's caruncles and I have a 7 yr old drake once he grew them in he didn't grow them bigger He's my avatar. Some just have more and bigger.
Thanks! Moose's caruncles spread all over his face, up his forehead and "flowed" down over the top of his beak. He looked like a little dragon, complete with eye ridges. He acted like one, too! He was haughty and nasty, unless you had treats. Then he was an absolute pussycat. An insistent pussycat, but a pussycat, nonetheless. I wish I had pictures!
