I have two Buff Braham Hens. Both sit low to the ground and are booted.
The body size is that of a Standard Chicken, but there legs are short. have Silkies and Blue Self d'Uccle's and my Bantam birds are larger than these Bantams. Which one are they, Bantam or Standard?

That nesting box is 4" high.

Fluffy loves being a Mother to her hatch of the three Giant Cochin Chicks.

Being from hatchery stock, she could be the "genetic anomaly" they all talk about. Not quite being standard, and not quite being bantam.

From the looks of her size compared to the chicks...I'd say she's more bantam than standard.

Thanks for your help....I have two of them, both Hens, both the same size.
The other hen has been in shows and has won. Our local feed store used to own them and show them. This one is not show quality as her wing is missing a section.

The local feed store sold out and sold her show birds as well. The new owners learn things from me.
