Breed? Last one! Lol

    Last one! Lol. What breed and sex? I originally thought it was a rooster bc it has such a. Large comb, but I seen it sitting on a nest! So now I'm guessing it's a hen, just want to make sure. Thanks!!

    It is hard to tell in those pics, but I think that is a female light brown leghorn.

    how well does she lay for you?

    My white leghorns lay almost every day...I wonder if that color does as well.

    What they said lol. Lots of nice white eggs from that lady. Leghorns often freak folks out that they're roosters cause of that huge comb, but if you search for brown leghorn roosters you'll see the absolute color difference--they're black breasted and multi-colored red and gold, think along the lines of the Kellogg rooster.
