Breed? Male or Female?

    These two chicks were given to me right before Easter. April 12th. I was told they were some type of bantam and that the Hens lay greenish eggs but from what I've researched I dont believe that's true? I kinda assumed the white one was male and the black a female, but hes never crowed yet? In this photo they're only 12-13 weeks, but about 16-17 weeks old now...

    The one in the back looks like a light brahma, which is a big bird (standard) and will give you light brown eggs. I got day old chicks shortly after Easter and here is one of my light brahmas. Not much of a comb yet. [​IMG]

    The black one could be a Black Langshan. Pretty!

    Not sure really I was told they were about a week old when I got them so about 5 months old now? Sorry counted too many weeks there some how. 16 weeks.

    Licorice (black) her feathers shimmer blue green with she's in the sun, so pretty! They also both grow feathers on their feet?
