Breed of 8 week old Australorps

I have 6 australorps, currently. 3 of them have combs and waddles and the other 3 don't. They were all purchased about 8 weeks ago. Here's the best picture I have right now of the 2 different features. What gender is the one in the front?

If they are indeed 8 weeks old, the comb and wattle development indicate that it is most likely a cockerel.
