    I got them from the farmer who supplies all the chicks for Wardell feed and supply in Lakewood colorado. They are about 5.5 weeks old.

    They look like mixed breeds to me.

    Cockerels will have bright pink combs by 8 to 10 weeks old. Pullets don't pink up until they are over 14 weeks old.

    Ok thanks! I'll watch for those signs!

    So they aren't true back star chicks? I've never seen a rusty colored breed like that one
