breed pics on hatchery sites

    Do any of the sites show pictures of the egg for the breed???? I'm trying to ID a breed by it's egg and wondered if any of the hatcheries show the eggs for the breeds.

    None that I know of. The Henderson Chart talks about egg color but you will find that hatchery birds are so impure that the egg size, color, or tint can vary quite a bit with birds from the same breed. The tendencies do follow the Henderson Chart somewhat but just don't count on it being exactly right, especially with hatchery chicks.

    not sure about the website, but I'm pretty sure Meyer's paper catalog has pics.

    Most of them don't even use pictures of their own birds so I doubt that they'd post pictures of the breeds' eggs.
