Breed?! Rooster?

    My husband bought 10 chicks about 6 months ago- so far I have 3 silky roosters and a silver laced Wyandotte rooster [​IMG] But I don't know about this- there's two of them. [​IMG]

    She/he looks like a Brown Leghorn, and very pretty indeed! I'm thinking its a pullet, but I'm not an expert on the breed.......I know the Leghorns do tend to have larger combs and she's not showing many "rooster tail traits" so I think it's a girl. But, like I said, I could be wrong! :p Hopefully someone else pipes in!

    Brown Leghorn pullet. That coloring is specific to females. The second pic shows a Brown Leghorn and an Easter Egger. Both female.

    Oh! I forgot about the Easter Egger down there! I agree with what @junebuggena said about her. :)

    Yes the hen in the second pic is an older girl and lays very pretty eggs! Thank you for the info on the pullet, the news I was hoping for!

    Also, I'm getting little white eggs from new chickens- do you think it would be these girls? I also have some white crested polish pullets...

    The Leghorn looks like she could be laying to me. Nice red comb, etc. If the eggs are white-white, they're probably hers. I think Polish lay creamy brown eggs?

    Awesome! Thank you! I've never had polish before and was unsure what color the eggs would be.
