I bought two of these at Atwood's. They were in a bin labeled 'Heavies'. I keep bouncing back in forth between, Jersey Giant, Australorps, Black Sex-link pullets, and now maybe Dark Cornish. In the last week they suddenly are way bigger than the others bought at the same time. They were black with black legs, yellow on the bottoms of their feet when young. Now they have some red coming out around their neck area. Here are a couple of photos.

This photo was when they were about 4-weeks old.

Sorry about the resolution. It is about 6-weeks old here. Notice the color around its neck and head.

This is one when it was about a week old. As you can see it was mostly black. The white on the wing was reflecting light not actually white. The stomach was a little greyish brown and the feet dark greyish black.

Great I needed more pullets. I didn't realize they were considered a heavy breed.

"Heavy" is kind of a loose term. I think most hatcheries apply that to anything that's not an ornamental or Mediterranean breed, so it can be one of several breeds.
