I would like some suggestions for large rooster breeds. My husband loves big roosters and I want to surprise him. If you have pictures please post! :)

    I enjoy New Hampshires.Their big,and docile.

Here is a Picture of my boy Zeus.[IMG](This is him today.)

It's rare for this breed to be aggressive. That is him in his cockerel days (Before he got the guts to fight his brother.)
He takes his job seriously. He shows the hens dust bathing areas (He makes it turn into a dust party)He shows them treats,he's pretty active breeder, and he protects and alerts his hens of ANY danger.Their also competitive.

Leghorns are also great rooster, but usually are never too friendly.
[IMG]Here ismy use to be rooster Foggy. He probably still looks the same, but probably has spurs.

He would have made a great rooster, but he just wouldn't stop fighting Zeus.

Giant breeds like Brahmas and Cochins, and Jersey Giants are going to be the biggest.

Orpingtons and Marans get pretty large also.

Or, you can go exotic and look at the Shamos, breeds like that.
