Breed???

bought a teen that has bright fluffy pure white feathers and her face is a translucent pale pink, our granddaughter named her Angel. I was told she was a white Bantam, and that she would lay dark brown eggs. Looking at pictures of Bantams now I'm not sure what breed she is. She is beautiful and very sweet and very large. Any ideas

Can you post a picture. A picture is the fastest way to estimate a breed. Several breeds of bantams come in white varieties. Just going by you description I'd say she's "supposed" to be a White Marans bantam.

thank you. I looked at a picture of the White Maran and it also showed a white Orpington and she looks more like the white Orpington. Thank you for your help. I will get a picture of her today and post

Not a bantam and not an Orpington. Looks like a White Rock to me.

Why do you think it's a white Rock & not one of the either ones? Leg color? Face? Body? All?

To large for a bantam so that rules it out. Wrong overall shape for an Orpington, and yellow legs also rule out an Orpington.
