Asking for a friend-what breed could this boy be? He’s from TSC. Any guesses appreciated. Thank you.

Whatever he is, he’s a mix.

A VERY handsome boy. I'd say mix, but they usually sell hatchery quality pure breeds at tsc, even if they have poor breeding.

He’s probably one of those hybrids.

TSC and other places have been selling blue chickens under names like "Blue Sapphire" and "Blue Rock" and "Blue Sexlink"--they're all some kind of hybrids, and he might be one of the males.

I've seen several different explanations of what is crossed to get them, but some of the crosses could produce males that look like that.

If he's used for breeding, his daughters will probably lay brown eggs.
