TSC and other places have been selling blue chickens under names like "Blue Sapphire" and "Blue Rock" and "Blue Sexlink"--they're all some kind of hybrids, and he might be one of the males.

I've seen several different explanations of what is crossed to get them, but some of the crosses could produce males that look like that.

If he's used for breeding, his daughters will probably lay brown eggs.

thanks everyone for your input! I’ll pass along. Least this should help her narrow things down a little. I agree he’s a beauty.
