Went to another auction tonight and picked up these two beauties... Anyone know what breed they are?

I asked several of the "chicken" folks at the auction and I got several different answers.

Those are pretty. They look similar to the California Whites I've seen in a hatchery catalog this spring, but I am no expert. [IMG]

    Anyone????

I'm guessing for better pics but they look like Splash Cochins to me with the leg feathering...a roo and pullet maybe?...

    Splash Cochins.

The Male looks to be from a mating of splashes. If done too far into the line, this mating 'washes' out the coloring in the chicks.

A pair of Splash Cochins. As was previously stated Brahmas have pea combs & these are obviously single combed.
